I did a lot of research on ISUP’s and chose the Gili Meno for its stability, it has the features I wanted, and has great reviews. I am very happy with my choice, it looks like a high quality board all of the accessories do as well.
My first paddle board and I wish I took the plunge earlier! Got this paddle board for versatility and it delivers on that promise. It's big enough for two and I can go out fishing on my end with a full fishing rig. Love it. Would highly recommend!
Researched SUPs for a while. I was torn between Gili and another brand but ultimately choose Gili based on other reviews, the look of the quality in close up pictures and size of the board for the price. They shipped very fast, 5 days, despite FedEx tracking being awful (said it was still in the first location, Phoenix, the entire time even though I live in the Chicago area until the day it arrived). We bought the 11’6 and 10’6 Meno for my wife and myself. I’ll let her review the 10’6. Mine is blue and looks built very well. I was glad to see they switched to the click lock fins on all fins instead of the old US fin box they used in the past models. Even though the US fin box is well liked and more readily available, the click lock is just easier with no parts to loose. The board comes with like 5 extra fin lock tabs plus the 3 already on the boars in case they break, which was nice because out of the box my center fin lock would not click all the way down to lock. Changed it out and works no problem. Could not figure out why, it looked fine. These things happen and I was glad there were so many extras included. Problem solved. Upgraded to the full carbon paddle. It’s nice and good quality. Bought an electric pump, and recommend every one does the same. The first time I pumped up by hand to leave inflated to leak test. The hand pump is nice. Worked great. Took 9 minutes to pump to 15 psi. The board says 14-18 psi. This is a really nice board and I have no regrets.
My girl was filled with excitement when I announced that I've ordered the ISUP. When it finally arrived, we couldn't wait to pump it up in our living room and as soon as the weekend arrived, we were off to our first SUP outing at Sentosa, Singapore! The 10'6 Meno was a very stable board and easily carried both of us off to our first adventure. I'm simply loved the whole package, the quality, the design considerations were very well thought through.
Great board. Bought it for my wife and she loved it. Can’t wait to take it out.
Just got my SUP and as a first timer I am very excited to get on the river
Great board . Super simple, electric pump was lifesaver . Manual pump while easy, still time consuming .Wife and kids enjoyed board, glided easily in the water and held nearly 400lbs surprisingly well. Def enjoying it and would buy again.
This 11'6 XL Meno is my first single rider board. The wider platform make learning easy. I also have the kayak conversion kit and used it it kayak mode. The kayak mode helps make the board very usable as I get to be stronger as a stand up paddler. I also used it with my Bixpy motor for extra fun!
This paddle board is an absolute beaut! I honestly can’t think of anything else you could want or need when it comes to the features and design of this board. Can’t wait to get this thing in the water! Jupiter, FL
I bought the 11’6” Meno with all carbon paddle and I’m glad I did. After being diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis last year, I was unable to load and unload my fishing kayak by myself. Since I do a lot of trips on my own, I needed something that was lightweight and easy to handle. We’ll, I found it with the Meno. I can lift and carry this thing with one hand very easily. Build quality is so much better than my first is up that I had 10 years ago. There’s plenty of space and weight capacity to do some camping trips. The added action mounts and Scotty mounts will allow me some flexibility when setting this board up for fishing. The paddle upgrade was definitely worth the extra money. It’s super lightweight and a lot sturdier than I thought it would be since it’s a 3-piece. If you’re looking for a board that has a higher weight capacity, is stable for fishing, and is lightweight and easy to store, look no further and add this thing to your cart. You may be as happy as I am.
After doing hours of research and talking with people in the ISUP world, the clear choice was Gili Meno 11’6 isup. Standing at 6’2” 230 lbs and being a newbie, this was the board I kept coming back to. I do recommend an electric pump, no sense starting your day out of breath.
The board rides very smooth & both my partner and I can be on it with no problems. The quality feels good and I feel safe on it out in the ocean.
great looking board. Can't wait for the lakes to unfreeze (winter in Ohio). Fast shipping and very well packaged. Plenty of trips planned. I have many boards and this design looks the best.
It was too windy to take our new Meno Board out in the Harbor the day we got it but can’t wait to take it out this weekend. The board is solid - and substantial. I have two that I’ll keep on the boat for Channel Island visits. It was as an effort to pump up to the recommended pressure but that’s a one time thing. If you are inflating and deflating often (or between uses) I suggest the electric pump GILI sells. We bought the white boards - very clean looking! I stacked them on the boat roof racks. Light and easy to lift.
After tons of research, I settled on the Gili Meno and after finally getting on the water, I am very happy with the purchase. Love that all fins are removable and that they provide different size center fins as I will be paddling on a variety of different waters. Tracking was mostly good using the 4” fin and two side fins in the river, though I’m excited to try without the side fins. The full accessory package is fantastic. Tons of mounting options and deck space for storage. I don’t have experience with any other manual pumps, but I think it is quality though it does take 10-20 minutes to fill and is exhausting. Can’t wait for the e-pump to arrive. The action mounts are not standard ‘Go Pro’ size so you may need to pick up extra mounting hardware to use those. There is a promotion for free fry bag with a photo review, so many reviews are 5 stars without ever having used the board, but I can say after using it that I give 5 stars!
